Suds and Spirits

Just as Pensacola was the site of the first European colonization attempt in Florida, it also was where the first craft brewer (McGuire's Irish Pub) began brewing in 1988.  Since then other brewers have opened and closed.   The remaining Pensacola's breweries and spirit houses are gaining fame.  Go Retro explores this fascinating evolution and educates customers about the finer points of spirits and beer.

Of course, the tour includes tasting--liquor first and beer later--in the tour.

The tour commences outside Old Hickory, which is the first whiskey bar opened in Pensacola.  It is named after the city's favorite Tennesseean, Andrew Jackson, who marched here with troops on three different occasions to seize control.

The tour continues with stops at another liquor bar and two other breweries.

All passengers must be over 21 years of age to drink.  Please drink responsibly as this tour involves walking approximately one mile.
